Polypropylene non-woven fleece tape incorporating selfadhesive strips for fixing to window or door frames and internal reveal substrates. Supplied as ‘EW’ type to allow location to window before or after window installation. Full self-adhesive backing - designation ‘VV’.
Application
The tape is designed to provide an air and vapour tight seal to the internal window connection joint. Due to the EW variant, the tape can be applied to the frame before or after installation. With the window installed, at corners, cut 300mm long lengths of ME320 and fold per separately supplied application instructions. Apply appropriately sized lengths of ME320 to seal between the four corners allowing for 100mm overlaps in each case. Apply the sill section first, followed by the jambs and then the head. Apply ME320 by first removing the clear liner on the narrow self-adhesive strip to the reverse face (with two strips of self-adhesive) and bonding to the internal frame face of the window. Then remove the white liner from the wider adhesive strip and bond to the internal reveal or VCL substrate.
After ensuring there are no wrinkles in the tape, consolidate the bond with a seam roller.

By ordering with Dortech Direct you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected. If you notice damage after the goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery.
